05 Jul Dream Finders Homes – Active Adult Lifestyle Announces Partnership To Benefit Hospitalized Children.
Dream Finders Homes – Active Adult Lifestyle announced a partnership with Once Upon A Room to enrich the lives of hospitalized children, teens, and infants who are fighting serious illnesses and long-term acute trauma. As part of the “Rooms In Bloom” spring program, the organizations are collaborating to raise funds to transform hospital rooms at Jacksonville’s Wolfson Children’s Hospital into colorful, imaginative spaces that promote healing and happiness in patients.
Recent examples of room makeovers at Wolfson Children’s Hospital include Minnie Mouse and Minecraft rooms to cheer up children undergoing cancer treatment. A space in the Pediatric Intensive Care Units now welcomes new parents with the warmth of a home nursery thanks to a new butterfly themed décor.
The partnership with Once Upon A Room is just one of many expressions of Dream Finders Homes’ commitment to strengthening local communities by supporting efforts that improve the lives of those in need. The company has partnered with organizations in eight states to provide homes to military veterans, funded Humane Society programs, supported cancer research, in addition to many other charitable efforts.
