The St. Augustine Amphitheater presents acclaimed rock n’ roll supergroup Sammy Hagar and The Circle in concert for two nights at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 1 and Wednesday, June 2.
Sammy Hagar is known as one of rock’s most dynamic and prolific artists. His 40-year career has ranged from his early work with the seminal hard rock band Montrose to his multi-platinum solo years and to his ride as the frontman of Van Halen. His iconic songs include “I Can’t Drive 55,” “Right Now,” and “Why Can’t This Be Love.” In his years with Van Halen, Hagar helped to lead the group to four consecutive No. 1 albums before the band broke up in the mid-90s.
